Possible causes
  • Harness or connectors (The CAN communication line is open or shorted.)
  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)
  • Dead (Weak) battery
    • What about the obd code?
  • ECM can not receive the information from ABS/TCS control unit continuously.
    • Symptoms
    – Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

    This CAN communication line is used to control the smooth engine operation during the ABS or TCS operation. Pulse signals are exchanged between ECM and ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit).
