P0297 Mini Vehicle Over Speed Condition

– Vehicle driven at a high rate of speed.

– Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

P0297 Mini Description

Indicates the vehicle has been operated in a manner which caused the vehicle speed to exceed a calibration limit. The vehicle speed is continuously monitored and evaluated by the Power Train Control Module (PCM. The DTC is set when the vehicle speed exceed the calibrated limit set within the PCM.
