Possible causes

– Engine Control Module (ECM) Programming error
– Odometer not programmed to ECM
– Faulty or wrong ECM

Tech description

If a new ECM/PCM is installed in a vehicle, the mileage has to be reprogrammed to the new ECM/PCM
