  • Open or short in the VCT circuit.
  • Open VPWR circuit.
  • Damaged PCM.
  • Open or short in the VCT solenoid valve.
  • Symptoms

    The comprehensive component monitor (CCM) monitors the VCT circuit to the PCM for high and low voltage. If the voltage falls below a calibrated limit a calibrated amount of time during testing, the test fails.
